5-6-7-8 Cast Bios

Amy is honored to be a founding member of 5678 and overjoyed to have an appropriate outlet for her occasional bouts of spontaneity. Originally from Pennsylvania, Amy studied anthropology and theatre at Washington University in St. Louis, and currently resides in DC.

Ryan is a founding member of 5678 and started doing Improv comedy two years ago when he enrolled in the DC Improv Comedy School. In January 2007 he met Pam onstage at the DC Improv and the laughs have not stopped since. Ryan was born in Red Bank, NJ. He grew up in York, PA but moved to Maryland to attend DeMatha Catholic High School. Gillis received a full football scholarship to the University of Notre Dame where he graduated from the business school with a dual degree in Marketing & Psychology.

Amy is the newest member of 5678, joining the cast in June 2008. She has studied at DC Improv and WIT, and comes to us from the great state of New Jersey. She is an actor and improvisor as well as a hair stylist and makeup artist. She would very much like her castmates to stop referring to her as "New Amy."

Min started his comedy career in his high school drama team working on many humorous plays and skits. In his senior year of high school, he discovered improv and his love for it. Min began working on his standup comedy and joined 5678, his first improv troupe, in October of 2007.

Tommy moved to Washington D.C. in November of 2006 to join the JACK DIAMOND MORNING SHOW on MIX 107.3, where he quickly established himself as a local favorite. Tommy joined the cast of 5678 in October 2007 and it has been the second-most exciting thing that has happened to him since moving to the Nation's Capital. (The MOST exciting thing was when Tyra Banks told him he was "cute.")

Pam is very much a product of the local improv scene, having completed courses of study at the DC Improv's Comedy School and Washington Improv Theater (WIT). She is the director of 5678 and the owner of 4&9 Productions, LLC. Born in Manhattan, Pam has lived in New Jersey; Maine; Philadelphia; Germany; Michigan; Ireland; Long Island; Brooklyn; and Washington, DC. This explains her East-Coast-Midwest-Fusion accent.
